Developers Health Guide
Developers Health Guide seeks to provide a simple and minimal framework on how developers can be healthy or get out of any health related crisis caused by lifestyle in tech, while pursuing their journey in software industry. The focus of the ebook will be on physical and mental health of Developers. See video below for a quick chat with a friend and content creator on this topic in my community, Silicon Mountain, Cameroon.
The main agenda of this ebook is to begin provisioning a platform whereby developers can begin to reflect about how tech can impact them negatively. So, with this knowledge, we can all understand the risk of overworking and enjoy a sustainable life in tech despite all the challenges met in our journey.
Software Engineering is a very mentally demanding domain of work and it's very stressful to stay relevant in the field. With daily changes in technology and constant demand from customers of products, software engineers tend to work a lot to satisfy others but not themselves. We can see burnout charts in the tech industry growing higher and higher, it is time for us to take a step back and re-evaluate our workflows and see how we can benefit from work-life balance.
